1. Our Business, Structure and Supply Chains

1.1 Surefix, operated by APEX M LTD, is a leading UK-based provider specialising in home appliance repairs, including white goods and boiler servicing. We work closely with manufacturer-approved engineers and maintain a UK-based contractor network to deliver fast, reliable services.


2. Policy Statement

2.1 The Modern Slavery Act 2015 provides a legislative framework addressing modern slavery, including human trafficking, slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labour.

2.2 Surefix holds a strict zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and is committed to ensuring that such practices do not exist within our business or supply chains.

2.3 This policy applies to:

  • All employees, contractors, agents, directors, and partners working for or on behalf of Surefix.
  • All suppliers, including repair agents, manufacturers, and business partners.

2.4 We require all suppliers to uphold the same standards and to ensure their own suppliers adhere to anti-slavery commitments. These provisions are embedded within our contracting process.


3. Our Policies

3.1 Surefix has implemented several policies to identify and reduce risks related to modern slavery and unethical practices, including:

4. Due Diligence Processes

4.1 Surefix undertakes due diligence before engaging new suppliers by:

  • Mapping our supply chain to identify potential risks.
  • Assessing risks related to modern slavery and human trafficking for each new supplier.
  • Conducting ongoing reviews of our supply chain integrity.

5. Responsibility and Compliance

5.1 The Board of Directors and Management Team of Surefix holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy.

5.2 All employees and suppliers must comply fully with the provisions of this policy.


6. Reporting Modern Slavery

6.1 Any suspicion or evidence of modern slavery must be reported immediately to:

  • Your Line Manager or Group Director, if you are a Surefix employee.
  • Your business contact within Surefix, if you are a supplier.

7. Breach of Policy

7.1 Any employee found to be in breach of this policy will face disciplinary action, which may include dismissal.

7.2 Suppliers breaching this policy risk termination of their business relationship with Surefix.


8. Training

8.1 Surefix provides training to all relevant employees to help prevent, identify, and report instances of modern slavery and human trafficking.

8.2 Employees are encouraged to report concerns through the Whistleblowing Policy, which guarantees confidentiality.

10. Policy Review

10.1 The Board of Directors and Management Team will review this statement annually to reaffirm our commitment to combat modern slavery.
